Montreal Independent Schools 2008

During the spring and fall of 2008, I had the opportunity to visit eight independent schools in the city of Montreal - all of them members of the Quebec Association of Independent Schools. Needless to say, they all provide a high quality academic foundation and a comfortable, personalized place for students to study and grow. I visited a boys' school (Selwyn House School), four girls' schools (Miss Edgar's and Miss Cramp's School, The Sacred Heart School of Montreal, The Study, Trafalgar School for Girls) and three co-ed schools (Centennial Academy, St. George's School of Montreal, The Priory School). Each school is a unique entity - with their own strengths, specialities, culture and attributes. As an educational consultant, it's important for me to visit as many independent schools as possible so I can assist families who are "looking for the best personal fit" for their child.

Toronto Area University Tour 2008

Canadian universities are regarded as being some of the best learning institutions in North America and around the world. In May 2008, I had the opportunity to visit five distinctive Toronto and area universities. Over four days, I experienced university life at the following campuses and discovered the rich opportunities that they provide: University of Guelph, University of Western Ontario, University of Toronto, York University and Ryerson University. In my role as an educational consultant, I advise students who are seeking an appropriate setting for their education - so it's very important for me to see these universities first-hand and to speak with their admissions representatives, students and professors. Ontario universities are an important part of our diverse and inclusive communities and help to form close and mutually supportive relationships around the province, in the rest of Canada and around the world.
